Store Policies

Our custom furniture typically takes 8 to 10 weeks to deliver, but each timeline is item specific When the furniture completed in our factory, we will call or email, and schedule a time for it to be delivered to your home. The item will be brought into your home if it’s a whit glove delivery, unwrapped, inspected and placed in the room of your choice; we also remove and recycle the packaging material.  White glove delivery with install is included in the furniture cost. Local curd side delivery cost as per item.


At our workshop we take pride in the finish quality and construction of our furniture. All of our furniture is inspected before it leaves the factory. Because each order is custom and made to-order, our custom furniture is non-cancellable, non-returnable and non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages.

Customers will have 48 hours from placement of orders to cancel. After 48 hours, Prowood Inc will retain a 50% deposit. We ask that prior to ordering you measure doorways and access points to prevent delivery problems. Furniture that does not fit in the elevator, hallway or doors will not be refunded.

In the event an item is damaged during transit or you find a manufacturer defect, please notify us within 7 days of purchase. We will accept returns within 14 days of purchase. Exchanges, credits, and refunds will be for item purchase price only. Shipping charges (including return shipping) are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund.

We take pride in the finish quality and construction of our furniture. Because each piece is custom and made-to-order, our furniture is non-returnable and non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages. Custom orders may only be canceled if the item is not on production.

Stock items will be accepted for exchange or return in like new condition within 7 days of purchase. Any custom order that is not accurate to the specifications provided on the invoice is only returnable if it cannot be corrected locally within 3 weeks of delivery.  No exchanges or returns on to specification special orders.

The production process begins shortly after the item is ordered. Customers have 72 hours from order placement to cancel custom orders. After 72 hours, the 60% deposit will be retained by Prowood Inc. Please review your sales information to make sure that we have all the pertinent details of your order correct, as well as your correct contact information.

Prowood Inc reserves the right photograph all goods before delivery.


Prowood Inc.’s finishes are among the most consistent available. Our multiple step technique combined with the careful selection of color matched woods and veneers ensure that the finished project will be as consistent as possible. However, since the properties of wood are not consistent themselves, we cannot ensure that each part of the project will look exactly alike, nor can we guarantee that the project will exactly match the initial sample. Therefore, Prowood Inc does allow for a range of color on its finished products. This acceptable color range may sometimes span several shades above or below the average shade for a stain/specie combination. Variations may also occur in hand applied paint finishes such as pickled, ragged, glazed, crackle, etc., these variations are normal. Each project is entitled to one custom-made finish board, additional boards will be created on a time plus material basis with a $100 minimum charge. All finish samples must be signed, dated and returned before Prowood Inc will proceed with the finishing stage of any project.



A 50% deposit is required to begin production on all custom orders. Balances are due upon delivery or pick up.

Cash, check, Visa or MasterCard, Discover, American Express, can pay balances.  Balances paid by card will have 2.75% processing fee added to final bill on custom orders.

Prices listed do not include NY state sales tax. NY state sales tax will be charged where applicable and at the checkout.


The customer is responsible for verifying building access and all entry measurements (doorways, stairwells, elevators, etc.) Prowood Inc cannot assume any responsibility for furniture that does not fit. Additional delivery charges may be assessed for storage in excess of 2 weeks.  Additional charges also apply for walkups or for deliveries that exceed 60 minutes. Delivery charges are for a single delivery. If pieces of furniture from the same order arrive at different times, additional delivery charges apply if the client wants delivery on an arrival basis.

All custom and out-of-stock arrival dates are approximate and are subject to change. We promise to keep you advised of any delays that arise as the information is received. Any updates provided by Prowood Inc during the production process are estimated and do not guarantee delivery sooner that the estimated lead-time.

Our delivery service will call you in advance to schedule a delivery time. The furniture will be brought to you, unwrapped, and placed in the room of your choice. Our delivery service performs simple assembly and disposes of all packaging material with your white glove with assembly. Free storage is offered for 2 weeks. Additional charges will apply if more storage time is required.

Furniture that is picked up by you (or your representative) from our delivery service’s warehouse must be inspected at the warehouse and signed off on as “in good condition” before it will be released to you. Prowood Inc cannot accept responsibility for any damage that occurs once the furniture leaves the warehouse. No processing charge for pick up.

Inspect all furniture thoroughly upon delivery while the delivery service is still on site, or at the warehouse if you are picking up your furniture. Please call with any concerns, problems, or quality issues. We will work with you to correct problems and we reserve the right to determine the best possible solution for any problems that may arise.


Warranty on the workmanship and material shall be for a period of 12 months from the date of the purchase, unless otherwise specified in the material or supplier’s warranty. Prowood Inc will perform all necessary labor to repair or replace all defective work at no cost to the customer, and will expeditiously act in good faith to secure replacement products or materials under warranty of products or services. Any claim or cause of action arising out of the terms of the warranty must be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction within the period of the warranty previously stated. Any warranty work performed during the warranty period does not extend the warranty any further than was previously stated in terms of the time from the date of the purchase. All aspects of this warranty are void if a person or company other than Prowood Inc performs or re-performs any work within the scope of the warranty. The following are excluded from warranty by Prowood Inc: a) Movement or misalignment of cabinets due to settling or movement of foundation floors, walls or ceilings. b) Damage to woodwork, finish, or any defect due to exposure to excessive moisture, heat, humidity, or cold. c) Wood movement, rising of grain, or any other problem or defect arising from exposure to moisture at the customer’s job site if cabinets or woodwork are delivered unfinished or unsealed.
